The position of Group Leader, Community Life, provides coordination and supervision of all Community Life Coordinators in Indiana. Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing clinical oversight to Community Life Coordinators (CLCs) throughout the various State locations.
• Coordinating the efforts of the CLCs to ensure the community involvement of each individual for whom we provide services is addressed in accordance with their interests, abilities and desires.
• Encouraging "outside the box" approaches from Community Life Coordinators when addressing an individual's interests and desires.
• Serving as a resource and sounding board for ideas and approaches concerning an individual's community involvement--vocational, educational, recreational, or a combination of these.
• Ensuring accurate and timely reports from the CLCs  (Case Notes, Progress Notes, etc.) and data collection as required by the Company and interested outside parties, including regulatory agencies.
• Working with other Interdisciplinary Team members (Case Managers, Area Coordinators, Nurses, Department Managers) to provide quality of life services that address all areas of an individual's life.
• Assisting CLCs in monitoring the schedules, hours worked, performance, and other supervisory aspects of their position in regards to Direct Support employees.
• Participating in on-call responsibilities in rotation with other professionals.
