The position of Regional Manager provides clinical and supervisory oversight for one of two regions: Indianapolis/Shelbyville or South Bend/Valparaiso. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provides leadership to achieve supports for the individuals we serve so they may reach their goals and ambitions in accordance to established philosophies and policies
- Provides oversight for a designated region: Indianapolis/Shelbyville or South Bend/Valparaiso, ensuring that the operations are in full compliance with all regulatory agencies
- Responsible for direct supervision of Case Managers, Maintenance, and oversight of Case Management in their supervisory responsibility with Direct Support staff (Mentors)
- Operates area services within the constraints of the operating budget. Identifies critical incidents and capital equipment needs for corporate budgetary assignment
- Identifies areas of service concerns and coordinates with Corporate personnel for needed resolutions
- Responsible for the administration of the area payroll budget and helps to coordinate scheduling of Mentors in residential settings
- Develops and maintains an Area staffing management plan in accordance with company policies and practices
- Obtains and coordinates program services with consulting professionals as assigned by the State Director
- Oversees the recruitment, screening, and hiring function and assists as needed with training and orientation of staff within the area program
- Serves as an advocate for individuals receiving services
- Coordinates with Corporate personnel to achieve business needs for successful operations
- Acts as a Steward for the Company's policies, values, philosophies, and resources
- Ensures required quality assessments are performed per Company policy and procedure
- Serves as a liaison with all relevant government and regulatory agencies, as well as families or guardians of individuals receiving services
- Ensures compliance with EEO, ADA, and all other applicable governmental and licensure requirements concerning agency operations and personnel
- Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean environment for all individuals and employees is maintained
BA/BS in Social Work, Psychology, or Special Education is required, Masters preferred Five years' experience with individuals with Developmental Disabilities in a professional capacity is required Should be familiar with State and Federal regulations for ICFs/MR and Medicaid Waiver settings Prior supervisory experience (minimum 5 years) is required Should demonstrate exceptional time management, judgement, decision making, crisis management, and planning ability Should demonstrate excellent computer knowledge and use.
