The Cork St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held in the heart of the city. It is an annual pageant presented by the wonderful and varied communities from all walks of life across the city – sporting groups to dance schools, new communities, our long-established brass bands, and special guests from around the world. The theme of Cork St. Patrick’s Day is A Century of Stories to celebrate one of the most significant moments, their last phase of the ‘Decade of Centenaries’ programme’.

*One of Cork’s biggest towns, Midleton canceled their St.Patrick’s parade due to lack of financial support.
Chicago St. Patrick’s Day
The Chicago River in the U.S. was dyed green on Saturday, as part of an annual tradition for the 68th Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities. Crews poured 50 pounds of dye into the river, using two large boats to spread the dye on11th March. The performers will step off at Balbo Drive and Columbus Drive and proceed north on Columbus to Monroe Street with the viewing stand located in front of Buckingham Fountain.
The theme of this Chicago St. Patrick’s Day parade is ‘recognizing workers rights’.

Tokyo St. Patrick’s Day
This year will be the 28th St.Patrick’s Day parade organized by Irish network Japan, a not-for-profit volunteer organization run by the Irish community in Japan & their Japanese friends. That’s way, both the Irish national flag and Japanese national flag have been displayed.
